Good value in a good location
Caring staff, they make an effort to help you if needed. Old, but clean facilities. Good, central location.
They called before the arrival time to check we were coming, and again in the evening to see when we were coming back to sleep. These calls were unnecessary, especially the second one, but not a problem really.

You get what you pay for. Good place for those travelers on a tight budget.
Fantastic and friendly Staff. Free toiletries provided. Free water bottles provided.
The toilet needs to be fixed up. I had some problems flushing the wastes and tissue papers in the toilet. There is some dust under the bed. The toilet is leaking. The place is a bit far away from Feng Chia Night Market. You need a taxi or uber to take you there. It is a bit weird to return the key to them every time before I go out. but it is no big deal. The hotel is outdated. It looks like the hotel of the 1970-90s. Need to upgrade.

What was the highlight of Broadway Hotel
The room was not as high level as the incredibly good welcoming
The standard room is big, there's a working table, a chair and hangers, the cleaning is super well made every day and I liked the disponibility of electricity plugs in the whole room and the free toiletries. But what was really incredible in this hotel is the quality of the communication, the warmth and the kindness of the manager and his family. I had in my world trip few of such a good welcomings. They helped me with my questions and even offered me some fruit I was looking for. And the fact that the hotel answers individually to comments prove the desire of doing things well. Great ! Go on like that ! But unfortunately, the good welcoming doesn't made the room better.
There was nearly no wifi signal in my room and the hotel is noisy: the doors are not soudproofed and so from a room at the end of the corridor, I could still hear what happens in the frontdesk, not speaking of the employees speaking loudly with clients in front of my door at 23pm. I think in all rooms you can hear the nearby KTV and the air con is not really discrete. Maybe other people don't care so much about wifi and noise, but what of the cockroach I had to kill in the bathroom, which is in such a poor state I had no desire taking a shower ? The lights in the room could be changed, and the windows too. I like when a bed is firm, but on this one I had the feeling of sleeping on the floor. Small improvements would make this hotel very pleasant, so mister manager, I hope you will be able to make them because I really liked meeting you and your family.
